Onam is the greatest and the most Famous celebration of Kerala. It is a harvest celebration and is praised with bliss and excitement everywhere throughout the state by individuals of all religion and Cast. Onam is celebrating in the start of the month of Malayalam Month Chingam, the principal month of Malayalam Calendar (Kollavarsham). This compares with the month of August-September as per Gregorian Calendar.
