Steps to Transfer Domain to another Hosting

1. Turn off Domain Protect and Request your Authorization Code
2. If purchased, Deactivate Private Registration for your name
3. Make sure that the WHOIS Registrant Contact email address is correct and accessible to you
4. Finally Request your Current Registrar(Hostgator, GoDaddy, iPage) for transfer domain
STEP 2: Once Transfer is Initiated
1. An email will be sent on your Registrant Contact email ID seeking approval for the transfer
2. This Email needs to be approved within 5 days
3. Once you provide the Registrant approval along with the auth code/EPP code, the domain name will get transferred within 5-7 days
Notes: If your domain has expired with your old Registrar and you’ve already renewed it with them, then do not Transfer it within 45 days of the previous expiry date. Why? This will not add 1 more year to your domain name and you will lose out on the Renewal fees paid to the older Registrar
