Emirates can firstly go to the UAEICP (Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Port Security) website or its application. You can use this link (www.icp.gov.ae) to enter into the website.
The UAEICP app is available on both Google PlayStore or Apple Store
- Once you reach the website, login using your digital ID or create your account using your email address.
- Then click on the Service tab from the top of the screen and click on Services for individuals option.
- And select Start Service button on renewal of passports of UAE Citizens abroad option.
- Now submit the application as per the instructions that appear on the screen and pay the fee. Recheck the submitted information is correct and accurate to avoid further complication.

Documents Required to Renew Passport
The basic criteria for passport renewal through UAEICP is that the age of the applicant should be above 15 years. Current passport should be valid for next 6 months. The ID card should contain a signature and fingerprint to receive the passport.
Your Photo must be taken in recent times and mee the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standard. Photos should be in high quality and up-to-date (35-40 mm). The photo background image is in white and should not contain a frame. And the resolution for the photo is at least 600 dpi without ink traces.
