The good news is that there is no fee to enter Al Hefayya Lake. For fun, you can walk the 3.17 km winding path, enjoy the mountain views, or have a picnic by the water. If you want to get out on the water yourself, there are rental fees for kayaks and motorized boats.

However, to enjoy kayaking, you have to pay AED20 per hour for singles and AED40 for doubles. Also, if you prefer motorized boats, 100 dirhams for three people, AED130 for 4-5 people for 30 minutes.

Al Hefaiyah Lake is located in Kalba, an eastern enclave of Sharjah. To find it, take the Sharjah-Kalba Road and cross the Al Hiyar Tunnel to look out over the lake. So, if you are travelling from Dubai or Abu Dhabi, you can easily enter this road and enjoy a scenic drive to the lake.

Currently, the official rental time for kayaks and motorized boats is 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. daily. Whether you choose a lakeside walk or picnic, you can go anytime, perfect for watching the sunrise or spending a relaxing evening under the shining countless stars.
