How to Pay Traffic Fines in Sharjah, UAE-WHERE AND HOW?

Driving on the roads of UAE, you have to be attentive to the traffic rules.  Otherwise, your chances to  Pay Traffic Fines in Sharjah is higher than compared to other countries. The UAE police have installed speed cameras across all major roads in UAE. The police monitor traffic violations with the help of the cameras and issues fines. On violating the rules and receiving fine, a violator is required to pay the corresponding fines.

Where you can Pay Traffic Fines in Sharjah?

The traffic fines received on violating any of the traffic rules can be pay through the following ways.

  1. Ministry of Interior’s app (MOI) – Online
  2. Traffic village (Tasjeel) – Offline
  3. Traffic Police Centers – Offline
  4. Police Service Centre located at the Sahara Mall and any Police Stations. – Offline

How to pay Traffic Fines in Sharjah?

STEP 1: Provide your driving license and ownership document to the employee.

STEP 2: The employee inputs your details online. Checks the fees to be paid. A receipt is printed with the details of traffic fines and the amount to be paid.

STEP 3: Pay the amount in the receipt. The fees may include the Traffic violation fine and query and electronic payment charges.

How to Query for the Traffic Fines?

You can query for the traffic fines in 3 different ways

  • Inquiry by Traffic Code Number (T.C No) – this will show all the fines related to your traffic code number.
  • Inquiry by License information – this will show all the fines related to your driving license.
  • Inquiry by plate data- this will show all the fines related to your vehicle

How to get a Federal T.C. No?

A Traffic File number is required to make a query about the traffic fines of companies and personal vehicle. It’s a unified number. TC No represents a personal traffic profile for any user deals with Unified Traffic System.

  • Printed on your vehicle registration card – Mulkiya
  • Printed on the back side of new driving licenses.

If you don’t have TC Number then Visit the traffic department in Sharjah with

  • Your Passport copy
  • Visa

Traffic Violations and Fines in Sharjah.

Sharjah is a country where there are strict traffic laws aimed at safer road journeys. The law defines violations that range from negligence like not carrying a driving license to major issues of dangerous driving. Hence, the fines for violations also ranges from 100 AED to 1000 AED.

If anyone thinks that they can get away violating the law by paying fines, then you got it wrong. The Sharjah traffic law defines a section called black points. For all major violations, black points will be assigned to the driver. This, in turn, helps the police to trace the people who are continuously making violations. Causing a rollover accident will get you 8 black points and driving the vehicle under the influence of drug or alcohol will fetch you 24 points.
